About John

My wife, Cheryl, and I were married in August 1978, and we looked forward with anticipation to a life of pastoral ministry to which we felt God calling us.

God has blessed us with three children – Joshua, Christina, and Maria – all of whom survived being raised in a pastor’s family (!) and are now married with children of their own. It brings us great joy to know that our six grandchildren are being raised to know, love, follow, and serve our great God. In July 2019, at retirement, we moved to St. Thomas to be closer to two of our children and their families who live in London. Redemption Bible Chapel St. Thomas has become our home church.

I became a Christ-follower at the young age of five, and Cheryl at the age of sixteen. Together we have served the Lord since our teen years, and our desire is to serve Him until we see our dear Lord and Saviour in glory one future day, all by God’s amazing grace!
