About Jason
My wife Kate and I have been attending Redemption since March of 2021. We were both blessed to be raised in Christian homes and were both saved at a young age.
However, in my teenage and young adult years I wandered far and wide seeking the desires of the world and was left broken and empty. It wasn’t until we started attending Redemption St Thomas that the Holy Spirit really started a life changing work in me. We found a community of believers that loves the Lord, seeks Him through the life changing truth of the Gospel and has a clear desire to serve Him. By His grace, through faith and obedience, my wife and I were both baptized on Easter Sunday 2023.
Kate and I were married in September of 2012. I work locally for a steel company and my wife has worked in health food and supplements for most of our married lives. We became members in September 2023, have the privilege of serving coffee here on Sunday mornings and are a part of a wonderful small group.
Philippians 2:3-8
“Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant that yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form,
He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”
We are just two broken people saved by the Almighty God and by the His leading and example it is our desire to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He would use us.
