About Bernie

Growing up in both Catholic and Anglican churches, it wasn’t until later in life that Bonnie and I were blessed with a wonderful group of friends who helped us discover our need for the Lord. In 1988, we both ended up giving our lives to the Lord.

With three younger boys, our early ministry service focused primarily on Children’s ministry. For the next 18 years, we served in such areas as Sunday School Superintendents and the “Challengers” kids’ ministry program at Rosemount Bible Church. We also spent most summers at Frontier Lodge Christian Camp, serving as directors or speakers at Junior Camp and then Directors of Family Camp.

I (Bernie) have served both as a Deacon and an Elder at Bethel Bible Chapel and as a Board Member of Frontier Lodge. Our move from Montreal to London eventually led us to Redemption Bible Chapel London and then to Redemption Bible Chapel St. Thomas.

Bonnie and I were married in 1980, and have three boys (Bryan, Bradley, and Brandon) who have so far blessed us with twelve grandchildren.

We remain committed to serving the Lord in whatever way He sees fit.
