About Bernard

My wife, Wilma, and I have been a part of Redemption (London and St. Thomas) for about twelve years. We were raised in Christian homes and, by God’s irrisistable grace, came to know Jesus as our personal Saviour during our teen years. Since then, we have been actively involved in serving our God as He has called and gifted us. We have been and are involved in Greeting Teams, Small Groups, Prayer, and Kids’ ministries.

We were married in 1990 and have been blessed with three children who are all married and serving the Lord. Brandon (Shannon) attend Redemption St. Thomas. Zachary (Mackenzie) and our three grandsons live and attend church in Kentucky, and Hanna (Calvin) attend Redemption St. Thomas. We praise God for his continued love and grace!

I enjoy my work as a Forensic Engineer investigating workplace accidents, and Wilma has recently retried from being the General Manager of a retirement home.

My life verse is Jeremiah 15:16, “Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.”

God is doing a great work here at Redemption St. Thomas, and we are honoured to be part of it and used by Him!
