Walking in Dependance on GOD
This is GOD’s Story!
The expectation is that God is at work bringing about salvation for His people.
Dependance is the answer!!
“Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5
Dependance is lived through a life of prayer.
Timeline:
- Nehemiah 1:1, “Now it happened in the month of Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Susa the citadel.”
- Nehemiah 2:1, “In the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes,”
- Nehemiah 6:15, “So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.”
It took 8 months from Nehemiah having his heard burdened for the people of God and their home to the completion of the wall. Four months of prayer and waiting – 2 months of preparing materials – and 52 days to build the wall.
